Most parents want to send their kids to good schools. This is especially so in Silicon Valley. So buying a house with good schools is one of the most important  search criteria for many who’s looking for a house here.  Houses with good schools are getting  more and more expensive also because tuition is increasing twice or more of the pace of the inflation. So having a house with good public schools makes it more affordable to provide the good education to kids.
